Welcome to the APOE4 Monthly Digest

Welcome. The Monthly Digest is a running, dated stream that mixes two things: short study-and-development summaries (a 1 to 2 minute read each), and occasional longer, newsletter-style issues. Both are for people who carry the APOE4 gene, whether you were just told you carry a copy or you have been managing this for years.

What you can expect:

  • Plain language with the actual numbers. When we cover a study, we try to give you the real figures, what they mean for a carrier specifically (absolute risk, not just “doubles”), and the honest caveats, not a vague “linked to.”
  • Source links. Every summary points back to the primary material.
  • Signal over noise. We don’t try to cover everything, just what is genuinely useful for carriers. An example of the bar: a drug’s ARIA risk broken out by APOE genotype, not just “increased risk.”

If you’d rather get these in your inbox, subscribe to the newsletter and we’ll send the best of the digest periodically. And if you’re brand new to all this, start with our Start Here guide.
